Fusarium - Facts and Management

Fusarium graminearum (Fusarium) causes Fusarium Head Blight (FHB), a serious fungal disease of cereal grains and is one of the most significant crop pests currently threatening agriculture in Alberta. Fusarium reduces the yield and quality of its host crops, including barley, wheat, oats and corn, while also producing toxins that render the grain crop unfit for human and animal consumption.
